Engine Powered Winch(Cable Puller Winch)

Winches consist of a spool of rope or cable attached to a hand crank or motor. When this crank or motor is turned, the spool winds around it, applying a pulling force to whatever object is attached to the other end. The motor of the winch can be gasoline engines, diesel engines and electric motors. The pulling force of the cable puller winch can be 3ton, 5ton, 8ton and 10ton. It plays a traction role in cable laying.

Cable Roller

Cable Rollers, whether they are for Trench Application or Duct Application, play a vitally important part in ensuring the cable is not only installed efficiently but that it is not damaged while being pulled through the trench.

We have various different options within this category.  Our standard straight line rollers will handle cables up to 125mm in diameter although larger sizes are available upon request.  When using any straight line roller we advise to space them in the trench at 2 – 2.5mtr intervals where the cable drum is up to 10 tonnes in weight and at 1.5 – 2mtr intervals for drums greater than 10 tonnes.

Cable Grip

Cable grips are an excellent lifting equipment tool used for gripping and pulling. They are extremely useful in the tensioning of messenger wire ropes, metal rods and cables. Cable grips are also a lot more common than people initially realise.

Cable grips have additional uses, such as supporting electric or structural cables for pulling or laying of the electric or structural cable itself. In such use they may also be called cable pulling grips, cable socks, or cable stockings.
